Virgin Australia – Your next pay rise is due in July

Good news! Your next EBA pay increase of 2.75% is due to commence on the first full pay period after 1 July 2019.

This will be the last scheduled pay increase for the current EBA. It is important that all employees join the union prior to negotiations for the next EBA. Together we achieve much more than we do alone.

In addition you will also receive an increase to the following allowances:

Allowance 1/7/19 increase
Project work allowance $10.24
Complex project work $22.80
Coffin allowance $3.03
Excessive fumes $1.09
Limited fumes $0.59
First aid $15.37
Daily airport travel $0.65
Language allowance $4.31
Positional towing $5.38
Cross-runway towing $10.77
Line training $21.54
Meal allowance $14.24

No union = no pay rise
This EBA pay rise was brought to you by union members.  Through the hard work and unity of union members we have secured significant improvements to the pay and conditions at Virgin Australia.

If you’re not a member, now is the time to join.  Don’t wait until it’s time to negotiate the next agreement – we need your help to protect our EBA conditions today.  You can join online now at our secure form: www.asu.asn.au/asujoin
