ASU members are campaigning for better pay and working conditions at Virgin Australia – defeating Virgin Australia’s non-union enterprise agreement, our victory has forced Virgin Australia to make significant improvements to its offer.
The new, better proposal is a testament to the power of collective action and shows what Virgin Australia workers can do when we stand up together.
We’ll be discussing what this improved offer means for your:

- Customer Excellence Bonus
- New and improved allowances
- Higher duties allowance
- Skills-based progression
- Protecting and improving parental leave
- Superannuation on parental leave
- Days in Lieu
- No changes to Nil 48s or Sick leave
- Increased minimum hours of work
- Minimum shift lengths
- 40 new full-time positions
- Additional part-time 50 model
- Rostering protection
- Improved breaks
