Honorary (legalsuper) Superannuation Director
The Union seeks expressions of interest from financial members of the Union and who are members of legalsuper who are interested in representing the Union as a Director on the legalsuper Board.
Directors are responsible and accountable for the management and administration of all Union members’ Superannuation requirements. The nominee will be required to provide reports to the Branch Secretary or Branch Executive where requested.
Nominees are reminded that the position is ‘Honorary’ and all directors’ or trustees’ entitlements will be paid directly by the Fund.
Applicants need to demonstrate in their response:
- Evidence of committed involvement within ASU
- Knowledge of Superannuation regulations and statutory requirements and skills to make an effective contribution to Board deliberations and processes
- Sound financial skills including investment knowledge or economic qualifications
- Written and oral communication skills
