This weekend has brought back familiar challenges. Uncertainty and rapid changes caused by COVID is difficult to say the least.
As Victoria has swung into a circuit breaker lockdown to get ahead of the current situation, your union has also continued in our fight to bring certainty for our members in aviation.
We are seeing further border closers and stand-downs, which is exactly why we need the Federal government to take urgent action to extend JobKeeper for aviation,
The fact is, we will not be returning to a normal flying schedule before JobKeeper ends in March,
We can weather this together but the government MUST commit to supporting our highly skilled and experienced aviation workers.
We are close.
Close to getting this certainty. But we need every voice at the table.

Tell him what he can’t see from Canberra.
No one should be going without pay or entitlements at this time.
Together we can keep Australia Flying.
