New ASU Organiser
My name is Victor Jose and I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your new ASU Organiser. Like most unions do from time to time, we at the ASU have had a reshuffle of Organising rounds and I have recently taken the role from Cassie Farley. I recently met with two of our ASU Delegates at the ANMF, Carole de Greenlaw and Elizabeth Cornell, and I look forward to working with them and you all in representing the interest of our members. I’ve been reminded that our current EBA will expire on 1st November this year and one of my first tasks is to work with our Delegates and engage our members and seek feedback on what you would like to see in the next EBA. Whilst November is a few months away, it’s important that you all start to consider what is in the current EBA that may need some improvement, what’s in the current EBA that is possibly irrelevant or needs to be removed and what’s missing that we may need to include moving forward ?
