The ASU and RACV attended a Commission hearing late on Tuesday afternoon to deal with the Unions request for RACV to provide a series of documents relating to the financial impact on employees of the proposed change to the Annualised Hours pay system.
RACV would not agree to provide these details.
Following discussions between the parties and Commissioner Roe in the hearing RACV
management have now agreed to supply documents to the Union as follows:
1. Any documents that support or sit behind the review the company undertook that led to their desire to change the Annualised Hours pay system. These documents will date back to October 2013 when they first contacted the Union and employees about the proposed change.
2. Any documents that support or sit behind the calculations that management supplied to employees in the presentations given to staff in June 2014. These are the calculations that offer a number of different scenarios to show how some of the changes may affect you.
As part of the understandings reached on Tuesday the RACV will now supply these documents in their outline of submissions to the Commission which are due by next Tuesday, 16 September, 2014.
The fight for your rights and your terms and conditions continues.
