We have held several rounds of negotiations over the last two weeks with management regarding the EBA.
Management have put a number of things on the table which they have asked Union members to consider as part of a proposed settlement to the EBA.
As indicated last week some of these things will need discussion and feedback from Union members as there are some questionable items amongst them.
Management have asked us for a response from the members.
To get that response we told management we would need to hold a meeting of members (the obvious thing to do)
Management knocked back our perfectly reasonable request to hold the meeting of members. Can you believe that???
Anyway…
As suggested in our email late last week we will need to organise our own meeting and, given managements lack of any cooperation, we will have to make it a stop work meeting.
As a result the meeting will be held as follows:
WEDNESDAY 11 DECEMBER, 2013
3PM
FRONT LAWNS OF RACV
All those on shift will need to walk off for one hour.
It is absolutely vital that ALL people not on shift also make a big effort to get to this meeting as we need your feedback on all of the items up for discussion.
Please make a genuine effort to be at this meeting.
If you have any queries please see the delegates of contact myself on 0408 998849 or return email.
Stay as magnificent as you have been right throughout this sustained campaign and I’ll see you on Wednesday afternoon.
