RETAILER Target has cut 23 jobs from its head office in the Victorian city of Geelong, just over a year after making more than 250 employees redundant.
The Australian Services Union said Target intended to outsource a number of functions and refused to confirm or deny whether the outsourced jobs would be offshore.
ASU Victorian private sector branch secretary, Ingrid Stitt, condemned the announcement, which is another setback for the struggling city.
