URGENT: We’ve just been informed that a TWU EBA survey has been sent to all Virgin ground services staff in error. ASU members will have received the ASU survey earlier this year, with our log of claims presented to the company all the way back in February. To clarify, you don’t need to complete this new survey.
We are currently unsure how or why all of your work emails were provided to the TWU. If you have concerns about this you should raise it with your local management.
The ASU is the union for all guest services team members at Virgin. The Australian Services Union is one of the largest and most diverse unions in Australia, representing the interests of approximately 135,000 members across the country.
The ASU exists to defend and advance the rights of our members. By acting together, workers in the industries and occupations we represent are in the very best position to protect their rights at work and to achieve better wages and conditions.
Our next EBA meeting with Virgin is scheduled for this Thursday, 8 June. Keep an eye out for further updates.
